What is American Heart Month

American Heart Month is a time to wear red and celebrate your awareness for heart disease, the #1 leading cause of death in the United States 

History of AMH 

  1. President Lyndon B Johnson established this month in 1964.
  2. Recognizing the efforts of physicians, doctors, and the struggle of patients with heart disease and cardiovascular problems is the main cause behind this month. 

How to Celebrate? 

Some ways to celebrate this month are by eating healthy to avoid heart disease, exercising, spreading awareness online, and volunteering at hospitals to assist the affected patients.
